12th Colchester Sea Scouts
Playground for creative people.
Beavers are young people, aged 6 to 8, who, every week, gather in groups called Beaver Colonies to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different activities.
Cubs are young people aged 8 to 10½ who, every week, gather in groups called Cub Packs to take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities
Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 10 ½ to 14 who, gather in groups called Scout Troops to conquer the small task of changing the world.
Meridian
Explorers are a go-getting group of young people aged 14 to 18 who, gather in groups called Units to try new things, make new friends and conquer tasks.

Scouts is where young people make new friends, have amazing adventures, and learn new skills.
Scouts are do-ers and give-it-a-go-ers.
Yes, we go camping, hiking, swimming, abseiling, cycling and canoeing.
Our aim is to encourage our members to:
- Be considerate – respecting each other and the things that make us different
- Try new things – activities, experiences… even foods!
- Express themselves politely and with confidence
- Make new friends and have fun!
